BLU Educational Foundation, the premier college access organization in the Inland Empire, is building its team for the future! We are elevating our mission to provide educational and human services programming to youth, adults and organizations in order to build healthy, productive communities.

 

We are recruiting a team of professionals dedicated to this mission, who aspire to be leaders, are entrepreneurial, confident communicators, emotionally mature, and committed to the long-term success of the Inland Empire.

We are recruiting for the following positions: 

Community Partnerships Coordinator

The Community Partnerships Coordinator will be responsible for developing relationships with nonprofit organizations, faith-based organizations, businesses and other community service groups to provide a system of support and enrichment opportunities for youth and their families. The Coordinator will work with BLU staff and partners to coordinate opportunities to increase college access and program participation. This position requires someone that has experience in community partnerships, project management and/or sales and marketing.

Leadership Development Coordinator

The Leadership Development Coordinator (LDC) will engage, recruit, and train students, parents and adults to increase the power, voice and leadership of Black, Indigenous, Latinx and other underrepresented communities to advance educational and social justice. The LDC will develop, implement and supervise, field organizing and leadership development activities that will work in partnership with BLU Educational Foundation’s civic engagement activities throughout the Inland Empire and in local schools, colleges and universities.

College Success Advisor (student position)    

The College Success Advisor (CSA) will assist with implementation and case management of a college access program for Inland Empire students. The CSA will provide college and career planning support to students and parents virtually (via phone, email, text and online) as part of a regional College Success Initiative.

Imagine Fund Mentor (seasonal position; stipend provided) 

Imagine Fund mentors play a pivotal role in guiding emerging artists through their creative journeys. They provide personalized mentorship, offering insights into both artistic techniques and professional development. Mentors support participants in refining their projects, setting and achieving artistic goals, and navigating challenges. By sharing their industry knowledge, mentors help participants build confidence, develop impactful work, and gain the skills needed for sustained success in their artistic careers.
